Anderson Paas just yesterday at the Grammy Awards became one of the owners of the golden gramophone.
Anderson was the winner in the category of the most melodic rock performance. In an interview, he was asked, among other things, about the musical affections of his nine-year-old son. He replied that his son is simply obsessed with K-pop superstars. Of course, it was about BTS.
Naturally, the next question for the rock artist was whether he plans to cooperate with the megapopular South Korean group due to such affection of son. Of course, Anderson jokingly replied that he was trying to find such an opportunity and asked the Esquire correspondent who conducted the interview to help him with this. He believed that such cooperation would be extremely effective.
Recall that BTS were nominated for «Best Performance of a Pop Duo/Group» for «Dynamite» at the Grammy, but lost to «Rain On Me» by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.
But music news observers picked up the idea of a rock musician’s collaboration with a popular South Korean band. They suggest that joint projects would be an excellent marketing move that would benefit both sides.
But so far Anderson is busy implementing a joint project with Bruno Mars called «Silk Sonic». It was this project that brought the artists a golden gramophone at the Grammy Awards. Naturally, this significantly affected the ratings of both the duo as a whole and each of its participants individually.
