How to fix if Musconv does not start on computer

If MusConv does not start or closes immediately, don’t worry — this problem can be quickly solved.
Usually, the problem is caused by a missing system program, an outdated version of Windows, or a damaged installation.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to solve this problem.

Why MusConv won’t start on Windows

  1. Outdated .NET Framework
MusConv requires .NET Framework 4.8 or higher. If it is too old, the program will not start.
To do this, enter “Download .NET Framework” in the Google search bar and download the latest version, or follow this link.
  2. Old version of Windows
Older OS, such as Windows 7 or 8, may lack updates required for modern apps.
MusConv works best on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).
  3. Corrupted installation files
If the program was installed incorrectly or the antivirus interrupted the installation, this may affect the launch of the program.
Try reinstalling MusConv (uninstall → reinstall).
  4. Missing Windows updates
Outdated system libraries or security updates can break dependencies used by the app.
Run Windows Update before trying again.
  5. Check Windows Event Logs
If the issue persists, please send us your Windows Event Log so we can investigate further.
