This work focuses on the theme of graffiti, which originated in the South Bronx, New York, in the 1970s and early 1980s, and later attracts people as hip-hop, as rap and breakdance. A valuable documentary film shot in detail about the moment of birth of graffiti. It became a kind of hip-hop textbook, but in Japan it was released only on DVD, but has not yet been released in movies. Almost 40 years after its production, viewers will be able to feel the fresh atmosphere of that time in the movies.
Juice is a film about violence among young people, which depicts four teenagers who are carried away along a false path. Tupac Shakur, also known as 2PAC, appears as a key character in the story.
The film «Society of Threat 2» depicts the struggle of a hero who participates in the daily life of conflict and death, through the eyes of a young black man living in a city where violence and drugs prevail.
Both films were presented as unique youth films and masterpieces of hip-hop. The popular music style and movement today originated in the black areas of megacities in the United States of America, but subsequently covered the whole world. Therefore, the theme of hip-hop in cinema has become so relevant.
