French music streaming service Deezer is constantly expanding its capabilities and gaining new users. In particular, such popularity and the rapid growth in the number of subscribers is facilitated by the availability of a subscription to any of the tariff plans that are offered to users.
The service has a permanent free version. Of course, in this case, a free user expects a certain number of restrictions. In the free version, the user does not pay anything, but can only listen to songs with a random listening function, that is, it is not possible to listen to certain songs at any time.
Basically, the free version offers about 70 million Deezer songs, but that’s about it. There is no offline mode, there are ads in the app and you can only skip a limited number of tracks.
Deezer Premium costs €9.99 per month and is free for the first three months of the subscription. With this plan, you can listen to music and podcasts without ads. During the period of the free version, a new user can fully experience all the advantages and disadvantages of this platform and see if it suits him.
Premium also allows the user to skip as many tracks as they want and switch between devices – mobile phones, tablets and laptops. In this regard, offline listening is available – that is, you can download songs within the application itself and listen to them even without access to the Internet.
For €14.99 per month, Deezer Family offers the same benefits as Deezer Premium, but with up to six accounts. As the name suggests, the plan was designed for families. With it, each member can create their own profile without having to make multiple subscriptions.
All members of a given subscription are expected to live at the same address. The tariff plan administrator who directly issues a family subscription must be of legal age, and each of the participants in this tariff plan must be at least 12 years old.
For full-time college or university students, there is a separate Deezer Student plan. Students can subscribe to the service and receive a 50% discount on the subscription.
To do this, go to the Deezer Student page and fill in the data requested by the platform – they will analyze and, if everything is in order, they will approve the discount. This means that student rate members must verify their student status. The tariff is valid for a maximum of four years. It will need to be renewed annually.
The HiFi tariff is designed for those who want to listen to music in high quality. Users pay 14.99 euros per month and can listen to tracks in FLAC format, which preserves lossless sound quality.
The new Deezer Family HiFi plan is designed to provide family plan users with lossless sound. In this case, they will have to pay 17.99 euros per month. Otherwise, the conditions for using this tariff plan are similar to the family tariff mentioned above.
The French streaming service often runs promotions for new subscribers. It is likely that by subscribing to its services as part of the promotion, you can get up to six months of a free trial or a lower cost of a certain tariff plan that you decide to subscribe.
