Apple Music is a music streaming service that has a huge catalog of songs. You can upload your own songs to the app or you can download them from Apple’s website and then add them to your account in order to access it through all of your devices. If you have some songs saved as files, here are instructions on how to add those onto the app so that they will be available for listening.
Adding songs from files to Apple Music on your iPhone is a quick and easy process. All you need is the app, an internet connection, and a song file. First, download and install the latest version of iTunes onto your computer if it’s not already installed. Next, connect your phone to the computer with a USB cable or Wi-Fi connection.
- Enable the Icloud Music Library on your iTunes
- Open iTunes
- Click File
- Go to Add Folder to Library.
Alternatively you can add individual files. The technique is the same.
- Find the iTunes Menu
- In the top left corner you’ll find an icon. Click it
- Choose “Add File to Library”
- Open the song you want to add in Itunes
