Tidal first delighted music streaming fans in 2014. A lot of time has passed since that moment. The service grew, developed, it developed and implemented a loyalty program and other marketing subtleties to attract new users.
Take Tidal Free to the next level, offering access to 70 million music tracks and expertly curated playlists. but when streaming music at just 160kbps, the audio quality is far from what paid Tidal subscribers have come to expect.
Finally, the $19.99 / month Tidal HiFi Plus plan includes all Tidal HiFi features, plus MQA (or Master Quality Authenticated) high-resolution tracks up to 24-bit / 192kHz and surround sound support including Dolby Atmos and Sony 360 Reality Audio.
Tidal does not offer its services for free, and there are discounts for new users only. However, you can try the site for 30 days free and make your decision after testing the site. A trial version of the application will be valid for a month. If you don’t like it, you can unsubscribe from the service.
When you pay for Tidal, you have two options. The first is the standard monthly subscription charged from your payment card or through PayPal.
However, if you are a new user, you can use a voucher for a specific amount and period, for example 180 days. You can find them in kiosks, supermarkets or on the Allegro website. However, you can only use such a voucher once, because once it expires, if you want to continue using the Tidal service, you will need to make a subscription decision and add the selected payment type to your account. This is an element of the loyalty program, which was introduced by the service relatively recently, but it has already managed to prove its effectiveness due to a significant increase in the number of subscribers to this music platform. A voucher for a six-month free use of the service belongs only to a newly registered user. This voucher cannot be cashed or gifted. If the user wants to re-use the free period of 180 days, he will need to register a new account.
If you already have a Tidal account but want to cancel the service, or you’ve used the 6-month trial and don’t like the app, just follow a few simple steps to delete your account. You can only do this from the website, so log in to MyTidal, find the subscriptions tab, and then cancel my subscription.
If you pay for your account with your mobile operator, you need to contact your operator’s support team directly. If you pay for Tidal using Apple Wallet / iTunes, simply search for cancellations and purchases on AppleiTunes in your account, then select the service you want to cancel.
