Netflix Shares First Visual Effects From New Movie

A few days ago, popular video hosting Netflix shared the first visuals, as well as an idea for a release date for its One Piece series, adapted from the manga of the same name.

For fans of the Eiichiro Oda universe, it comes as a complete surprise when Netflix posts a poster on Instagram for what promises to be an adaptation of the adventures of Luffy and his pirate friends. But this news initially frightened manga fans by the fact that Nrouge’s previous work remained unsatisfactory.

Following this, Netflix shared the faces of the Straw Hat Pirate’s new crew. But the rest of the communication remained restrained. Therefore, the new visuals were perceived as a breath of fresh air.

The first image featuring the five main characters was also released. Each is widely recognizable by their costume, which is identical to that of the manga. On the beach, with their backs to the ocean, the little party seems to be ready to set sail. Twilight shrouds the Vogue Merry, Luffy’s mythical ship.

On the other hand, the second poster sells the image better, we see Luffy with his fist raised, still looking at him towards the horizon. His iconic straw hat is on his head. In addition, the image carries the announcement that the long-awaited series will be released during 2023.

After years of waiting, the famous manga is coming to Netflix as a live-action series. A new adaptation of the manga’s flagship episodes, the first images of which were made public by the platform.
