Papa Roach continued to cover the events of last year’s 20th anniversary the best album called «Infest».
Today, the group decided to remix «Last Resort», which was their main hit. A new version was released together with Jeris Johnson. This lover of the channel TikTok appeared in the field of view of the group completely unexpectedly. Previously, no one knew about him, but his creative idea found a heated review from subscribers. And the result was a joint music video.
The history of this fruitful cooperation began in the most unexpected way. In October, Johnson uploaded a video to the TikTok with a piece of his remix of «Last Resort». He turned to his subscribers asking if they could imagine that Papa Roach would sing with him.
Literally in two days, the clip lasting only 40 seconds gained more than two million views. And despite the fact that Jacobi Shaddix himself says when he was sent this video, he did not even really imagine what TikTok was, just a week later Johnson and Papa Roach had already met in the studio.
And the 24-year-old Johnson himself, in the wake of popularity, began to release debut album. On his debut EP, you can also find a duet with Chad Kruger from Nickelback.
