Useful Features Of Spotify

Spotify has become an integral part of the life of modern music lovers, for whom music streaming has become almost the main source of music. The Swedish green giant, as Spotify is fondly called, offers its users a wide and efficient set of features that will make using the service very convenient for any user.

Spotify has shared playlists that you can share with family or friends at the same time. Whether it’s a party or a family, if you regularly listen to Spotify together, a shared playlist is the way to go. To do this, select a playlist and tap the three-dot icon. With “Share” you release the list to your friends. If you also select Shared Playlist, you can even populate the list yourself.

There are times when searching for the desired track in Spotify does not bring the expected result. Then there is a way that can help refine the search. It is important that the filters are written in lower case letters. Keywords can be used as additional filters. Then only the corresponding music compositions will be shown. For example, by setting a parameter in the search for tracks of a song from the 90s, you can create a beautiful background music for your party if your guests are of the appropriate age. The good thing is that in Spotify all filters can be combined by setting the most detailed music search parameters.

Like individual songs, entire playlists can be saved offline. To do this, open the playlist on your desktop or smartphone app and select the “Available offline” radio button. Then Spotify will automatically download all the songs to the device and play them even without internet connection. There is one caveat – this feature is only available to premium subscribers.

If you want to be safe and not waste your data, you can even turn off online streaming completely and only listen to your saved music. Offline mode can be found in the app, but only for premium subscribers.

In the Spotify app, you can customize the sound to your taste. To do this, go to the application settings and select “Playback”. Next, go to the Equalizer. There will be several sections, however they can also be adjusted in separate areas such as bass and treble.

If you don’t have a premium subscription, you won’t be able to listen to individual songs on the Spotify app. Instead, it will play either a random song from the same playlist or a song identified by Spotify as similar. What many users don’t know is that this limitation is not present in the desktop program for PC and Mac. Here you can at any time choose the track you like – and immediately listen to it.

Stay up to date with music news. To do this, open the playlist and simply select “Subscribe”. As soon as new songs are added to the list, your list will also be updated immediately. Some users update their lists regularly. This way you will quickly discover a lot of great music.
